Getting
Service
Started/Transferred
Starting,
Stopping
or
Transferring
service
can
usually
be
done
by
the
following
business
day
after
the
order
has
been
made.
To
begin
service
we
require
your
full
name,
complete
address,
picture
identification,
home
and
work
telephone
numbers
and
Social
Security
number.
There
is
a
connect
fee
$15.00
in
the
city,
and
$25.00
in
the
county
to
establish
a
new
service
or
transfer
a
service.
This
is
a
non-refundable
fee.

New
Service
Hook-Ups
To
set
up
service
for
new
construction
may
take
up
2
weeks,
depending
on
the
weather
and
other
conditions.
When
you
come
in
you
will
need
the
911
address,
a
copy
of
the
septic
system
application,
and
a
lot
number
if
in
a
subdivision.

Security
Deposits
The
standard
deposit
for
Electric
is
$200.00,
and
Water
is
$25.00.
A
credit
check
is
performed
to
determine
the
amount
of
deposit
you
will
need.

Reconnect
Policy
During
our
normal
business
hours,
customers
may
come
into
our
office
and
pay
to
be
reconnected.
The
fee
during
these
hours
are
$25.00
in
the
city,
and
$35.00
in
the
county.
After
working
hours
the
fee
is
$50.00.

Reporting
Security
Light
Outages
To
report
your
security/street
light
out,
please
call
our
main
office.
The
light
can
usually
be
fixed
with
3-4
working
days.
