Paris
Board
of
Public
Utilities
was
created
in
1938
to
serve
electricity
to
all
of
Henry
County
and
water
for
the
city
of
Paris.
Owned
by
the
city,
we
are
governed
by
a
independent
board
appointed
by
the
mayor
and
approved
by
the
full
commission.
In
1954,
sanitation
sewer
service
was
offered
to
the
city
of
Paris.
Owned
by
the
citizens
we
serve,
we
offer
low,
non-profit,
rates
reflecting
our
mission
of
quality
customer
service.
We
continue
to
explore
new
ideas
to
improve
our
performance
and
add
value
to
our
service.
