Description
Construction of the new 69kV transmission line between the Eagle Creek TVA delivery point and our Puryear Substation is underway. If you have traveled along Hwy 140 East, you have noticed the right-of-way has been widened to accommodate the ten-mile line. Completion of the project is expected in the spring of 2026. With the new line in service, Paris BPU will be better able to balance system load and respond to system challenges with greater resiliency.
