Description
Over the past year, contractors have been working on major water rehabilitation projects in the Downtown and West Paris areas to replace aging infrastructure and strengthen the reliability of our water system for years to come. The project has included the installation of new water mains and service lines designed to modernize the system and help ensure continued delivery of safe, high-quality drinking water to our customers. The projects are now nearing completion, with a target completion date of the end of June 2026. Remaining work includes two large line bores beneath railroad tracks to tie in new water mains, while paving continues on completed street cuts throughout the project areas. While much of this work happens underground and out of sight, these upgrades are essential to maintaining and improving the infrastructure that our community depends on every day.
